🧀 Ingredients

For the Pizza Base (or use store-bought):

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¾ cup warm water (adjust as needed)

For Marinated Paneer:

  • 200g paneer, cubed
  • 2 tbsp thick curd (yogurt)
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste

Toppings:

  • 1 medium green capsicum, sliced thin
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1½ cups grated mozzarella cheese (or pizza cheese blend)
  • ¼ cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tsp oil or butter (for sautéing)

🍕 Instructions

1. Prepare the Pizza Dough:

  1. In a bowl, mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let it rest for 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix and knead into a smooth dough.
  3. Cover and let it rise for 1-1.5 hours or until doubled in size.

2. Marinate the Paneer:

  1. In a bowl, mix curd, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, and salt.
  2. Add paneer cubes, coat well, and let them marinate for 20–30 minutes.

3. Prepare the Toppings:

  1. Heat 1 tsp oil or butter in a pan.
  2. Lightly sauté onions and capsicum for 2-3 minutes (keep them crunchy).
  3. In the same pan, cook marinated paneer for 3–5 minutes until slightly golden.

4. Assemble the Pizza:

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your preferred thickness.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly on the base.
  4. Add a layer of cheese, then top with sautéed onions, capsicum, and paneer.
  5. Sprinkle extra cheese on top if desired.

5. Bake:

  1. Place the pizza on a greased baking tray or pizza stone.
  2. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
